Variation of Mortality Over the Life Cycle

Abstract
This study has been performed to analyze long-term model of variations of mortality in the United States since 1960s. The cohort collection of mortality from the U.S. Vital statistics and National Census were used for the analysis. At the analysis, male-to-female ratios of death rates have reached the highest point at the ages 20-30, indicating significantly high risky behaviors of male at the young age. It is supported that despite higher male-to female ratios of Whites over most of life stages, weighted calculations indicated that
mortality of white male is higher than other racial and gender groups in America
